Please Note: This position has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.

The Senior Financial Analyst role is for a team-focused player who can deliver results focused on customer experience and foster a sense of community with teammates. This role performs financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and management reporting functions requiring minimal direction. Utilizes asset management industry specific reporting principles and techniques, and advanced computer skills. Fosters deep understanding of the business products, metrics and economics as it relates to asset management, financial planning, and management reporting process. A self-starter with the ability to understand complex business initiatives and translate discrete data into financial insights supporting busines decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Business customer facing role: build relationships with business customers and communicate updates to senior leadership both informally and formally
• Financial and business insights: Develop reporting that tells the financial story
• Provide timely and accurate financial analysis, transforming disparate data and metrics into actionable decision insights
• Support a strong partnership culture while building your skills with a supportive and fun team
• Opportunity to develop strong Product knowledge including Alternative Funds, Separate Accounts, Trusts and Retail Funds
• Assist with variety of Profitability based analysis with focus across sectors, distribution channels and business units
• Development of Industry based knowledge through the support of Firm wide survey participation with focus on how results can help share future decisions
• Assist with various functions related to financial reporting including monthly and quarterly standard and ad-hoc activities.
• Maintain controls and standard work documentation as designed and needed.
• Perform other related projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting; MBA, CPA or CFA a plus.
• Three to five years previous experience in financial reporting and analysis, accounting or finance experience required.
• Advanced to expert level with Excel, Power Point, OAC, Tableau and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Oracle a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
