Senior Financial Analyst

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytic and detail-oriented senior financial analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis organization. In this position, you will assist business leaders in functional expense planning, as well as supporting day-to-day decision-making. Additionally, this role will work closely with the finance, accounting, and data intelligence teams to ensure the integrity of our financial systems, as well as accurate and timely financial reporting. This role will report to the Director, Corporate FP&A.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Drive efficient and effective long-range planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and insightful summaries and recommendations
• Support financial close activities, including the creation and maintenance of accruals
• Research and analyze expense activity, understanding primary variance drivers
• Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis to finance and business leadership
• Proactively manage operating expenses and headcount with business partners to ensure financial commitments are met
• Assist in the maintenance and development of our financial system (Planful/Host Analytics) to support the accounting and finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, headcount and CapEx
• Prepare, maintain, and support the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, the Board of Directors, and key stakeholders
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial data and reporting; identify, troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies, implement solutions and improvements as needed
• Assist in the documentation of SOX controls
• Become a power user of our financial planning and reporting system (Planful/Host Analytics) and ERP (QAD)
• Ad-hoc financial analysis, modeling, and support as necessary

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
• 5+ years of FP&A and/or financial systems experience
• Basic understanding of GAAP accounting, including GL journal entries and accruals
• Strong working knowledge of and experience with financial planning and reporting processes
• Excellent communicator and collaborator across multiple departments. Practices a service-oriented approach and excels in relationship building across the organization
• Advanced Microsoft Excel financial modeling skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to deliver summarized results with recommendations
• Strong problem-solving skills, highly analytical with attention to detail
• Experience with financial forecasting and reporting systems Planful/Host Analytics, Tableau and Power BI preferred
• Experience with QAD, SalesForce.com preferred
