Senior Finance Analyst

Location:  Plant located in Perham, Minnesota

This position supports the Sr. Supply Chain Finance Manager in various closing, reporting, inventory management, and business planning activities. This includes daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities, as well as analysis of variances and their causes. Evaluations and recommendations are reported to the Sr. Supply Chain Finance Manager r, Plant Management Team, and corporate finance, as required.  Reports to Sr. Finance Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• As the FP&A your role is to ensure that the plant team operates with a high level of fiscal integrity in accounting practices, financial reporting and decision making.
• Provide cost direction and support to other departments as required, including plant management, quality, purchasing, planning and inventory control.
• Support capital process by monitoring capital spending vs. budget, review and analyze results
• Assist in cost savings studies to support continuous improvement activities.
• Provide assistance in reviewing and analyzing weekly and monthly cost data.
• Support Sr. Supply Chain Finance Manager and complete tasks in his/her absence.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration 
  • 3 - 5+ years’ experience in Finance, manufacturing plant experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
