The Senior Financial Analyst will play a lead role in building relationships with key business owners and driving insights and analysis. Working closely with Sales and Finance leaders, you will consult cross-divisionally and functionally to present data to build regular models, forecasts and budgets.

What you'll do

  • Integral participation in financial modeling and decision support for 3 year strategic growth plan, annual budget, and monthly forecasting
  • Preparation of monthly reports and analysis of trends to provide insights to business leaders to assist in making informed business decisions
  • Understand forecast and budget variances to ensure accuracy in financial statements and to provide summarized results of performance to business partners/ Senior Management
  • Analysis of micro and macro-economic trends to derive a greater understanding of the drivers of historical business performance and incorporate in forecasting
  • Coordination with accounting during close cycle to ensure actual results, accruals and other adjustments are correct
  • Drive, assist, and collaborate with various teams in order to report out on performance against specific metrics within growth initiatives

What experience you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • 2-5 years working in a related capacity, preferably involving budgeting, financial planning and variance analysis

What could set you apart

  • Must have strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including prior experience involving budgeting, financial planning, variance analysis and financial model building
  • Must have solid understanding of accounting principles including accruals, capitalization, P&L statements, etc. with the ability to interpret data and draw out insights through data visualizations
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with senior-level management across various companies
  • Must be self-motivated with strong process improvement mentality and ability to streamline function and have a passion to learn and grow
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required, Hyperion (HFM and Planning), Tableau, Oracle, Google, and SQL are a plus
