Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description
Overview:
The Southeast Toyota Finance (SETF) Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide reporting of financial results and analysis to support SETF and other Business Units. The person will be accountable for a broad base of analysis, reporting, and special project duties, including the creation of multiple monthly financial analysis packages for SETF including key performance metrics, data comparatives, and graphs.
This position will also support and assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget as well as related schedules and presentations, in addition to assisting with the creation of numerous executive-level presentations (recurring and ad-hoc).
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Preparation of financial and operational analyses for internal and external management
- Summarization and analysis of large amounts of financial data
- Preparation of monthly financial reports including actuals, forecasts, and annual budgets
- Work as part of a team to prepare presentations for SETF Management, JMFE Executive Management Team, Trustees, and Treasury
- Preparation of ad hoc reports upon request
- Research reporting variances, and work with other departments to provide explanations for senior management
- Support the maintenance of financial database and planning software
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field of study required; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis/reporting experience
- Uncompromising self-starter with the ability to work under strict deadlines
- Ability to work with changing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of associates
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service to a broad base of stakeholders with the ability and interest to learn business operations
- Advanced PC/software skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required as well as Essbase, Hyperion Planning Cloud with some administrative background, NetSuite, and Power BI. **If specific skills in this area are missing, then aptitude, ability, and willingness to develop them is required
