Department Overview

The Supply Chain Finance team supports the manufacturing and supply chain organization for Motorola’s $1bn+ Video Security and Access Control portfolio. We provide accounting support including GL review, journal entries, month-end close, FP&A and reporting. We support acquisitions & ERP integrations. We partner with BGM for all constituent departments in the video space.
Job Description

This role will have the ability to sit remote across the US, but will have some travel to our Richardson facility in Texas.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to help support our manufacturing operations. This new team member will also support Global FP&A and business operations requirements from the Director of Supply Chain finance, including but not limited to the following key areas:

• Creating advanced financial models to forecast spend for key cost drivers
• Support in the financial evaluation of go/no-go large purchase decisions
• Improve, optimize and simplify existing revenue and cost reporting
• Lead in variance analysis and deep-dive investigations
• Implement actionable financial reporting and analysis to highlight operational metrics, improve cost savings visibility and drive transparency into operational cost drivers
• Assist with annual budgets, refreshes, and latest estimate forecasts - ensure monthly revised costing aligns to latest revenue targets
• Centralized reporting, modeling and analysis of global supply chain cost performance, over various periods of time & relative to expectations
• Centralized financial report creation in Smartview
• Coordination of global reporting & dashboard requirements in partnership with the BI team in Tableau and other automation systems
• System requirements for forecast loads
• Tracking of PPV and Freight costs by business segment--

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting
• Professional accounting designation or equivalent
• Public company experience
• Manufacturing plant experience
• SAP HANA and SAP BI

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years experience in cost accounting or finance roles
