Senior Financial Analyst

Overview
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The financial analyst helps provide high quality support to other corporate departments and facilities to assist in their execution of departmental and company objectives through modelling, financial / operational analysis, and reporting
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue, cost, profitability and return on investment; prepare reports, presentations and projections based on this analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting
- Review of enterprise budgeting process and preparation of materials for executive and board review
- Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual performance against budgets and forecasts
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and business case development
- Partner with senior management to evaluate new business opportunities, M&A, organic development and other capital investments
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement financial performance improvement initiatives.
- Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
- Implement and optimize financial analysis tools and systems improved data analysis and decision making
- Other adhoc projects as needed
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in a multi-location healthcare setting
- Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
- Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
- Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
- English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- PREFERRED: CPA or MBA
