Summary

This position is the single point of contact for all things financial and will assist in the delivery of finance services to the company's Heartland Payment Processing team, including all management reporting, financial analysis, data analytics, budgeting and forecasting as well as ad hoc analysis, business case support and month end close.

This role will demonstrate a collaborative working style and possess a focus on partnering with the Heartland Payment Processing leaders to drive financial insights. It is a key role that will help make a high-impact contribution to Global Payments' business, leadership, and culture of innovation.

What Part Will You Play?
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information and analysis to effect management decisions in a fast-paced, highly complex business environment.
  • Undertake all financial functions including planning, budgeting, forecasting, modelling, financial reporting and month end reclasses, accruals and review for financial close for the Heartland Payment Processing channel.
  • Drive decisions throughout the Heartland Payment Processing team, using key performance indicator reports/metrics and analysis compiled by working closely with business leaders.
  • Produce detailed weekly/monthly reporting by utilizing database systems and financial models to support sales channel performance.
  • Analyze metrics and collaborate across teams to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support sales leadership with relationship management by monitoring, analyzing and communicating current performance trends of customers.
  • Support sales and corporate leadership with business case analysis for various initiatives/products
  • Ensure compliance and strong internal controls.
  • Ad-hoc special projects and other duties as needed.


What Are We Looking For In This Role?

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3 years Financial Analyst experience
  • Expense forecasting and budgeting experience
  • Expert knowledge in MS Excel
  • Experience with a fast-paced, public, high growth and/or technology company
  • Experience in analyzing a highly complex business
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and technical skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple priorities and tasks under tight deadlines and pressure
  • Able to drive innovation and business improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people with varying degrees of financial exposure.


Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year in a senior level role
  • Month end close journal entry experience
  • Master's degree or MBA
  • Experience in Hyperion Smartview
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience in the payment or Fintech industry
