Play a key role in developing and managing finance and accounting processes, maintaining and upgrading financial software and systems, implementing financial reporting strategies, analyzing and reporting on key trends, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Nordic's accounting systems and associated data.SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
The Senior Financial Analyst provides consultation and serves as the subject matter expert on financial reporting projects. This role will enhance the ability of internal partners to analyze and respond to key trends. In this role you will assist with global financial operations, working collaboratively with a range of cross-functional partners to enable strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Financial Analyst will have the following key responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:
- Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events
- Evaluate and analyze revenue, cost, and profit variances against budget, and forecast to help identify significant trends for response by operations management.
- Lead business partners through the annual budgeting and forecasting process including business lines, shared services, and global consolidation
- Maintain/Develop management reporting including but not limited to utilization reporting, profitability by business line/project, and monthly budget review reporting.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations
- Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports
- Work on business operations projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary
- Assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses into our current finance structure and processes
- Partner with the operations and reporting teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy of global consolidated reports.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years' experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial concepts
- Advanced experience in integrated financial systems/software applications (NetSuite a plus) and MS Excel
- Experience utilizing strong intuitive analytic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's maxims

- Travel up to 5% of the time
- Preferred position located in Madison, WI. Open to remote.
