Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Performs technical analysis to determine key drivers of actual finance performance (Revenue, Gross Margin, Operating Spend).
- Maintains standard monthly reports for Service Business Unit. Collect data, review costs and prepare reports on labor, cost of sales or other operating expenses, ensuring that established procedures are followed.
- Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
CAREER LEVEL:
- Works under limited supervision on assignments that require a comprehensive knowledge of the discipline.
- May be responsible for a business activity, or lead small projects, assume several components of a larger project or program, or complex portion of a large project/program.
- May assist and/or provide limited supervision to more junior staff members.
- Broad application of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques used in the applicable technical or business discipline and working knowledge of interrelated fields.
- Develops resolutions to diverse and complex problems very often requiring creativity.
- Exercises judgment using generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions.
- Frequent inter-organizational and external customer contacts.
- May represent the organization on projects and interface with customers. Impact of errors may have implications requiring significant expenditure of resources to correct and/or achieve project goals. Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' experience, or Masters with 2+ years', or its equivalent.
