Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary:The Senior Financial Analyst prepares financial statements and schedules to meet management and corporate reporting needs. They maintain records of material cost by applying applicable accounting techniques. They are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of standard costing and financial reporting while upholding the quality and control standards of ZF.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyze monthly financial results and isolate/correct/explain variances from plan.
• Support Controller with preparation and coordination of the business plan.
• Create and maintain financial reporting database to meet all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for both planning and actual results of operations.
• Review standard costs for materials and assembled products.
• Record and circulate information on product costing.
• Prepare cost calculations to support service parts pricing and quotes for assembled OE products.
• Maintain and perform distributions of operating costs among business operations.
• Review and update capital investment files, prepare corporate investment requests.
• Perform related month end tasks and management support tasks as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3 - 5+ years of financial or cost accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SAP.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• CPA License
• Highly developed interpersonal skills working with all disciplines within the organization

• Experience in production, quality and logistics tasks
• ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 awareness training
