RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for a Senior Financial Analyst to become a part of our superior workforce in the Washington, DC area. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide onsite and remote federal program support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, organize, direct, and conduct financial consulting/assistance services supporting program or project managers
- Conduct analyses and make recommendations to identify and address financial issues of moderate-to-extensive scope and complexity
- Address financial issues that may be difficult to define and may require novel approaches and the use of sophisticated techniques
- Plan, organize, and execute analyses, and interpret and apply results
- Coordinate work of other analytical staff
- Understand and apply new methodologies, data sources, and tools that support analytical efforts
- Interact with lending institutions and private sector real estate developers to obtain data, discuss issues, and resolve discrepancies or conflicts, and develop financial strategies to promote program objective
- Conduct systematic analyses employing appropriate models and techniques, and present results
- Develop and evaluate project financing alternatives, term sheets, annual budgets, pro forma models, cash flow analysis, business case analysis, and life cycle cost estimates
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client issued Public Trust
- 4+ years of Financial Management/analysis
- 2+ years in Project Management or leadership
- Experience in financial consulting/assistance services supporting large, complex projects
- Ability to lead a team of financial analysts
- Able to grasp interrelationship between financial analyses and program objectives
- Knowledge of capital markets, real estate finance, cost analysis, and sophisticated analytical techniques
- Knowledge of federal policies related to financing military housing privatization
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and effectively
- Able to work independently to prioritize work as well as collaborating as a team member
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of fundamental business writing
- Expertise in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, and Charts)
- Knowledge of Tableau, SAS, SQL, Oracle, or other analytic and visualization tools or programming languages
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related majors or CPA may substitute for 2 years' experience.
