About the Role:

The Finance team is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst to join our growing team. You will be the finance business partner to key functional leaders across our B2C and B2B commercial organizations, responsible for identifying, analyzing and reporting on metrics that reflect business performance, and driving a rigorous budgeting and forecasting process. You will work with both finance and business leaders to ensure timely and accurate forecasting calculations. This is a highly visible role with frequent interactions across the leadership team.

This would be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to get a 360° view of all finance processes in an international and fast growing SaaS/EdTech company and wanting to build out the foundation of a best in class FP&A and strategic finance function.

The role reports to the Finance Manager. You will interact frequently with other teams in the US, UK, and Belgium.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Build and maintain financial models used for monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast and budget review cycles.
  • Become the absolute expert on all B2B and B2C financial metrics and unit economics of our business.
  • Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, use insights to drive meaningful action and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
  • Build/expand financial and operational reporting capabilities that provide key business insights and help drive business decisions with an ROI mindset.
  • Collaborate with the data team to build and maintain relevant dashboards and improve our reporting and forecasting capabilities on key SaaS metrics.
  • Participate in new FP&A initiatives, including ad hoc analysis and process improvement.
  • Conduct strategic financial analysis (pricing & packaging, ROI of paid marketing spend, etc.) to inform some of our most critical business decisions.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field required.
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting, financial and analytical roles, preferably a combination of investment banking or PE/VC experience plus FP&A experience.
  • SaaS experience or knowledge applicable key metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, Churn, LTV, Pipeline).
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work closely with all levels of management.
  • Detail oriented, analytical and structured.
  • Desire to learn quickly and discover new functionalities to improve your work on a continuous basis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce, data visualization/BI tools and subscription management tools is a plus.
  • Bonus points for Python and SQL skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and 100% English speaking environment.
