Job mission
The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting management with data, information and analysis. This position addresses Sales and Operations support regarding financial activities including, variance analysis for Management Reporting as well as support of budget and forecast activities. The Sr. Financial Analyst will have contact and communication with senior-level Management requiring strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support Sales Management decision making in order to drive growth, profitability, and free cash flow in line with the Global Growth Strategy.
- Support Operations Management in decisions regarding productivity improvements, cost reduction activities and overall increased operational efficiency
- Partner with sales, operations and management to drive budget and forecasting processes.
- Ensure accuracy and reasonableness for revenue, gross profit, and expenses.
- Ability to articulate and illustrate financial information throughout the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ability to consolidate and reconcile large amounts of data from varying sources.
- Drive deadlines and deliverables through the organization.
- Ensure business decisions are accurately reflected and communicated in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform accurate and timely financial reporting for management decision making
- Prepare monthly reporting on performance for North American organization including:
- KPIs
- Cost Volume Price Analysis
- Expense Reconciliation
- COGS Reconciliation
- Trend Analysis
- Other analysis as assigned and developed
- Prepare monthly reporting on performance for North American organization including:
- Identify root causes and drive change through multiple systems and organizations.
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial tools, and organizational processes.
Skills
- Ability to quickly navigate multiple reporting systems and data sources to answer questions.
- Ability to quickly and accurately summarize financial data for ad hoc reporting
- Ability to identify areas of concern, clearly communicate, and drive change across multiple organizations
- Testing and configuration of new system integrations
- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles

Minimum requirements to apply for the position
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance .
At least 5-10 years of experience in Finance including Budgeting, Forecasting and general Finance Support to an operating entity
Experience with software such as SAP, BPC, Qlik, PowerBI, etc.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
English proficiency is mandatory
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (MBA preferred)
