Senior Financial Analyst

CallRail is seeking a highly analytical and detail oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. Reporting to the Director of FP&A you will be responsible for pulling together reports and analysis that inform the Director and help to support the decision making of the Executive team. Additionally, you will partner closely with various departments, Talent & Culture and the Accounting team to improve our internal financial processes and help advance the operating objectives of the business. 

The best fit for this position is someone who is detail oriented, analytically minded, loves spreadsheets and is an excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with people across all departments. 

• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial package, KPIs and other monthly analysis/reports utilizing various systems, including Looker, Netsuite, Zuora and Salesforce.
• Monitor and analyze budget/forecast variances each month and work with departmental leadership to help make operating decisions.  
• Run the monthly variance analysis meetings and work with department leaders to ensure all expected expenses are planned in the forecast. 
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget.  Adjust the financial forecast model to reflect expected revenue and expenses as needed.
• Manage FP&A side of headcount/recruiting tracking tool.
• Process monthly commissions utilizing excel and our new commission management software.  Build and manage dashboards to give the business better insights into commission payments and the deals that are significantly contributing to them. 
• Continually work to improve internal financial processes to gain efficiency.
• Monitor business processes and develop tools to track trends and help inform finance leadership.
• Prepare market analysis reporting with comparisons to similar SaaS companies.
• Work on multi-year business cases with marketing and product management.

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ Years related experience.
• Strong organization/documentation skills and attention to detail needed to be successful.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial leaders.
• Netsuite, Zuora, Salesforece and Looker experience a plus, but not required.
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills required (Knowledge of pivot tables, lookup methods, chart creation, and data integrity issues).
