Daikin is looking for a Sr Financial Analyst to join our team! The Sr Financial Analyst willdevelop, interpret, and implement complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control.

A Day in the Life:

• Analyze, understand and interpret financial transactional data supporting monthly journal entries; make recommendations when/where necessary
• Month end financial close activities; including necessary journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting analysis, etc.
• Analyze variances, understand drivers and trends. Assist in development and preparation of regular management reporting
• Support and participate in the annual planning monthly forecasting process; ensure plans and forecasts are aligned with Business Unit and Corporate Goals.
• Provide support for Business Unit capital spending, including assistance with plan and forecasts, along with development and preparation of regular reporting
• Clearly and concisely communicate as needed on Business Unit results, Forecast/plan and other matters to leadership
• Performs special projects

What you will Bring:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
• 3 years of financial analysis experience

Preferred

• Master's Degree
• 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing organization
