Senior Financial Analyst

Overview:

Tennant Is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst at our global headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a part of the team of the VP Finance, and will engage with different areas of the organization, providing financial, strategic, and analytical support to the enterprise and to the business units. The Senior Financial Analyst's responsibilities include analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, and performing research and analysis. This position will support the Corporate Functions with high visibility to leadership within the organization.

General Responsibilities include:

• Analyze and develop actionable insights related to financial statements and reports, with the goal of understanding business performance and drivers
• Establish and track key business performance indicators and metrics
• Provide accurate, timely, and informative business insights to key stakeholders
• Support the monthly forecasting, accrual, and annual operating plan processes for key stakeholder areas
• Lead the development and optimization of monthly & quarterly functional reporting
• Build relationships across teams globally to drive consistency in reporting, forecasting, and analytics
• Support corporate long-range planning, enterprise strategy, and annual operating plan processes
• Proactively enhance and develop new reporting and processes based on changing business needs
• Manage and assist with various ad-hoc corporate finance projects and analysis as needed

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting (4 year degree)
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of key business and financial metrics and processes
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Experience in business analytics, financial modeling, and annual planning processes
• Advanced level of competency in Microsoft Office products; specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP, BW, BPC preferred
• FPAC credential preferred
