Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description
What you will do:
Under general supervision, and in accordance with division policies, this position is responsible for providing financial support to the Americas Procurement team. Ongoing responsibilities include validation of savings projects and coordination of efforts to achieve savings targets, analysis of key financial and operational metrics (including but not limited to Accounts Payable and SG&A expenses). Analyst is expected to have strong communication skills as a number of the analyses and deliverables will require direct communication with various finance personnel and other cross-functional team members.
How you will do it:
Financial Results
- Assists in monthly close process
- Executes timely and accurate preparation of all accounting/financial documents
Annual Plan/Forecasting/Outlooks:
- Actively participates in the Forecast / Plan process
- Maintains adequate back-up/support for key assumptions
Special Projects/Other
- Supports the Americas Procurement team & Integrated Supply Chain finance team
- Validates savings projects and reports on progress towards overall savings targets
- Prepares and analyzes multiple reports to ensure SOX compliance within Procurement
- Identifies areas of improvement and takes action to implement change as agreed upon by management
- Assist with various ad hoc projects/requests as they arise
What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum two years experience with increasing responsibility
- A highly motivated individual capable of handling multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong analytical and computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams
- Familiarity with either Onestream, QAD, or SAP a plus
Working Conditions:
Position is in an office environment. Currently hybrid - 2 days in the office / 3 days remote.
