On Nov. 2, 2022, Alkermes plc announced its intention to explore separation of its oncology assets, including nemvaleukin alfa, IL-12 and IL-18. Alkermes plc intends to create a new, publicly-traded company to develop and commercialize such oncology assets. Referred to herein as "Mural Oncology." Alkermes, Inc., a subsidiary of Alkermes plc, is recruiting the position of Senior Financial Analyst for Mural Oncology in advance of its establishment as a publicly-traded company on The Nasdaq Stock Market.

Recently, Alkermes announced its intention to explore a separation of its oncology business into an independent, publicly-traded company with assets ranging from pre-clinal to pivotal stage development. The new hire for this position will join Alkermes, but in the event the separation of the oncology business occurs (which, if completed, would likely occur in the second half of 2023), the expectation would be that the employee would become part of the Finance department within the newly-formed oncology company supporting the development of biological drug products.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Financial Planning, and Analysis team, will act as key contributor to provide support for ongoing financial planning and consolidated reporting for FP&A, with a strong focus on the systems / processes that enable global reporting
• This individual will support the quarterly business review and the annual budget, support the quarterly forecast process and long range plan and provide analytical support for senior finance management & at all levels up to the Executive team
• This individual will work closely with the Finance team, understanding the drivers of financials across the business and providing support, including systems support (NetSuite Planning & Budgeting)
• This role will build and maintain strong relationships between finance and business partners.
• Working closely with accounting on the month end and quarter end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, etc.
• Assisting in the development of dashboards and reports for trending and analysis of specific business objectives and processes
• Completing ad hoc analysis and decision support related to the overall organization including spend variance analysis and Head Count reporting
