Senior Financial Analyst

The Risk Solutions Government Business Unit mission is built around 3 pillars:

This position exists to perform accounting and financial reporting duties to allow us to execute on our mission.

Competencies/Attributes

Ensure all financial reporting is in compliance with IFRS/RELX guidelines Ensure that all of our analysis is objective and fact based All sensitive data is handled appropriately Ensure we conduct ourselves so that we are viewed as trusted business partners

Finance will get accurate data, and maintain the integrity of the data throughout the process Ability to do repetitive processes accurately

Analysis: Finance will provide analysis that helps manage the business

Build models that are efficient, easy to manipulate and generate the key metrics Ability to analyze the results and draw conclusions

Communication: Finance will communicate any analysis in a way that is easy to understand

Ability to display the analysis in a manner that is easy to understand and highlights the key points. Ability to present in-person to peers/executives

Continuous improvement: Finance always strive to improve existing processes and look for new areas to help manage the business

Ability to update existing models and processes to meet the changing needs of the business Identify additional reporting/analysis we can do to help manage the business

Requirements:

• 4 year degree or work equivalent in accounting/finance

• Working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to learn new accounting/finance software packages

Specific job duties entail:

• Revenue and Expense budgeting/forecasting
• Monthly reporting of revenue and expense metrics
• Financial support for sales goaling process
• Ad-hoc financial analysis
