Responsibilities

• Support the budget and forecasting process for Exotec North America, including quarterly forecast planning, data collection, validation, interpretation of any variances and identification of financial risks and opportunities.
• Manage fixed assets additions and collaborate with asset owners and accounts payable to ensure proper accounting.
• Perform a physical inventory of all fixed assets annually.
• Assume responsibility for the correct valuation of stocks and processes related to inventories.
• Support in the monthly closing process (data collection, calculations, accounting instructions)
• Analyze operational performance through monitoring of KPIs and engage operational staff on corrective actions.
• Report to functional and department leaders on main business drivers, variance analysis (volume, pricing, COGS, labor, sales & marketing expenses, SG&A), etc.
• Optimize existing financial processes or, where necessary, suggest and implement new processes with an aim toward improving efficiency and automation.
• Help ensure Exotec's North America businesses are operating in compliance with Exotec's global policies.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of corporate financial and/or audit firm experience, ideally with some exposure working with international organizations
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business, MBA or CMA preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Excel and knowledgeable and skilled in financial systems and BI tools (MS Dynamics 365 / Business Central, PowerBI, etc.)
• Experience in taking the lead on financial projects and/or implementing process improvements or policy changes
• Comfortable working in a hybrid role with financial analysis and accounting responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the business
• Committed to achieving results in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment driven by strong, organic company growth
• Highly analytical and a solutions-oriented approach
• Comfortable and experienced in working with coworkers in different times zones, different cultural backgrounds
