WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking a motivated financial and accounting professional to join our firm. This is a full-time and fully remote position. This job is best suited for an individual who possesses excellent attention to detail, continuously strives to learn and develop, and prefers working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for monthly management reporting
  • Maintaining forecasting model for each project and be responsible for division and practice area consolidation.
  • Support the maintenance of Deltek Costpoint environment and update tools for the finance and accounting team to work efficiently.
  • Working with Project Managers to build monthly project forecasts and developing variance analysis to budget.
  • Reviewing, validating, and reporting project actual costs incurred for labor, travel and expense.
  • Create COGNOS reports as required.
  • Issuing accurate monthly project invoices to clients.
  • Identifying and explaining financial risks/implications of project management decisions.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Five or more years of relevant professional experience with a government contractor
  • 3 or more years working with Deltek Costpoint 
  • Experience in overseeing financials for T&M, FFP, and cost-plus contracts
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Access and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with forecasting, analysis, and data visualization
  • Experience or knowledge of Generally-Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, and Power Query

Salary: $85,000-95,000
