Senior Financial Analyst

The Sr. Financial Analyst will perform quantitative analysis to forecast financial performance and partner with business leaders to manage budgetary expectations.

What you get to do:• Lead the development of cost center and project-level spending plans.• Partner with business leaders to ensure that they understand the financial drivers inherent in those plans.• Analyze actual vs. forecast performance, emphasizing understanding and communicating how the company will meet its financial commitments.• Clearly and concisely communicate expected and actual financial results and the activities underlying those results.• Use a thorough understanding of GAAP and finance theory to help business partners understand the financial implications of potential business decisions.• Identify, analyze, communicate, and provide suggested solutions to resolve financial issues which impact business objectives.• Evaluate the net present value and other operating metrics for capital investments in product development and other sources of growth.• Leverage information systems to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of forecasting and analysis.• Participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities to ensure reported costs stated by the GAAP are available promptly and consistently.

Skills /Requirements /Qualifications• Minimum 6 years of work experience, minimum of 4 years' experience as a Financial Analyst • Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Must have solid proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.• Must have experience with financial modeling (NPV, IRR, business plans, etc.)

Master's Degree from a leading MBA program is strongly preferred, ideally with a CPA

comparable experience as a financial analyst.• Experience with SAP• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth medical device or molecular diagnostic company• Experience providing financial and analytical support• Ability to organize, interpret, and draw appropriate conclusions from large volumes of data• High attention to detail and accuracy• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.• Can work collaboratively in a team environment and the ability to work independently • Demonstrated success communicating at all levels of the organization

Physical Job Requirements• Ability to sit for an extended period• Ability to handle conflicting priorities related to meeting tight deadlines• Ability to work extended hours during peak workloads
