JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst is fully dedicated to the implementation project of NOV's financial planning and consolidation system to Oracle Cloud EPM. This position will play a critical role in achieving NOV's finance transformation agenda, reporting within the corporate FP&A function and a key member of the implementation project team supporting the financial reporting, budgeting, and product line profitability applications. The position will report directly to the Vice President of FP&A and indirectly to the Financial Systems Manager leading the implementation project.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with the implementation team to gather requirements on business needs that are in line with the enterprise-wide financial systems strategy
- Help to bridge the gap between business requirements initiated by finance teams and the functional capabilities of the system
- Find opportunities as part of this process to improve processes and fully utilize the capabilities of the system
- Communicate requirements through specifications, statements of work, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
- Participate in all activities of the implementation, including but not limited to data mapping, conversions, and user acceptance testing
- Build and maintain internal resources for users of the financial system, including training documents and videos (if needed), as well as knowledge share on advanced functionality and issue resolution.
- Compile, test, deploy and run business rules for driver-based planning processes and allocation of costs across product lines, markets, etc .
- Developing and enhancing financial models and planning processes to drive effective data analytics and improve decision-making
- Business partnership, collaboration, and delivery
- Provide a key communication channel between various finance and business teams
- Communicate professionally, through both written and verbal communications

To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred
- Four to five years of progressive work experience in a financial planning and analysis role
- Expertise in business planning processes, budgets, forecasts, bridges, etc.
- Proficiency with Oracle EPM Cloud or Hyperion planning
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in and SmartView
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and statistical data but can also see the "big picture"
- Thoroughly understand finance & accounting concepts, with a general understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Business Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Advanced excel, presentation, and computer skills
- Experience with a mix of accounting, FP&A, and business systems analysis experience supporting financial environments,
