JOB OVERVIEW

The Sr. Financial analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing our financial planning and analysis processes, driving efficiency, and providing critical financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with cross functional teams and actively contribute to the growth and success of the organization. You will have an integral role in the annual budgeting process and will be a driving force behind month-end financial reporting and forecast analysis. Furthermore, this individual will serve as a collaborative finance business partner to our commercial organization, supporting day-to-day decision making and overseeing all FP&A related tasks for the function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting & Forecast Analysis• Maintain, prepare, and distribute month-end financial reports and templates, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.• Conduct in-depth analysis of forecast and actual financial results, identifying opportunities for improvement.• Work closely with finance colleagues to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in financial reporting.• Engage in discussions to drive process improvements and efficiencies.

Finance Business Partner• Act as a trusted finance business partner to the commercial organization (Marketing, Sales, and Business Development)• Drive development of annual budget, monthly forecasts, and month-end reporting of actual results. This includes on-going analysis versus plan and/or the forecast. Oversee processes for the monitoring of risks and opportunities and interim changes to manage working P&L between forecasts.• Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.• Collaborate with department head to align financial goals with business objectives.

Annual Budgeting / Operating Plan Process• Prepare and distribute financial templates to key stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective reviews.• Support the overall development of the budget timeline and deliverables.

Executive Reporting• Assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations and reports for various business reviews with corporate head-office.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.• Knowledge of financial systems and business intelligence platforms; experience with Hyperion and Power BI a plus• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.• Eagerness to learn and drive process improvements.• Ability to challenge and question business assumptions when appropriate.• High level of integrity and self-confidence.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in an FP&A role performing business analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
