Job Overview

Keurig Dr. Pepper (KDP) is looking for a hands-on experienced Finance professional for its DSD Finance operation. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key resource in reporting and providing critical analysis of KDP's financial performance for finance and executive leadership. As part of the Southern California Region DSD Finance team, you will collaborate with the business leaders and finance teams across the organization to help analyze and communicate key drivers of the company's financial results as well as provide inputs to executive management packages and scorecards. This role requires an understanding of corporate finance, a keen interest in learning about the business, a strong analytical mindset and the ability to contribute to the process of making sound business decisions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial guidance on actual results, operational processes, and financial planning
  • Evaluate opportunities for process improvement and standardization of key financial metrics for development of financial scorecards and dashboards
  • Support monthly management financial insights to Executive and Finance Leadership through advanced analysis and critical thinking
  • Identify spend patterns versus historical norms, forecasted plans, and competitive benchmarks and recommend opportunities
  • Collaborate with business, finance and accounting teams to help analyze, align and report the key business drivers
  • Evaluate current and historical financial trends, and utilize various analysis techniques in order to gauge forecast and annual operating plan reasonableness
  • Make recommendations to management based on in-depth knowledge of the analytics and financial acumen
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling
  • Promote and communicate key elements of the various financial milestones across the organization
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Interact with sales and operations teams to ensure spend accuracy and identify variances from Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Provide meaningful insight and recommendations to business partners and Region leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and processes to meet or exceed AOP

Total Rewards

  • Salary Range: USD $72,100 - USD $132,510
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in a similar position
  • Financial acumen, experience with problem solving with analytical thinking
  • SAP, PowerPoint, Access experience, advanced Excel skills required (e.g., Pivot Tables, V&H Lookups, Ifs, Sum ifs, Index, Match, VBA experience a plus)
  • BI experience a plus (Planning Analytics, MicroStrategy, SAP BW, etc.)
