Senior Financial Analyst - Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite)

Allegion is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who is a "hands-on" leader with strong accounting, financial analysis, internal control, planning, and reporting skills as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This position will provide financial guidance and support to plant and finance leaders and must understand and be able to meet challenges inherent in a business undergoing change and growth. This role will report to the SBU Controller located at our Colorado Springs site.

What You Will Do:

Compliance and Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, FICAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls requirements with all activities.
• Work with plant leadership to enhance current internal controls processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation for month-end / year-end closing, standard cost setting, and all other financial processes and procedures - also working to improve cycle time and accuracy.
• Lead aspects of annual physical inventory, annual standards setting and other annual and compliance requirements for the Colorado Springs plant location.

Projects and Processes

• Prepare month end journal entries timely and accurately. Maintain compliance with GAAP and FICAP. Analyze and report on results.
• Prepare required daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting.
• Review, update and analyze standard cost information.
• Prepare forecast ensuring alignment with operations, analyze and prepare summary of changes.
• Partner with finance and plant leaders order to gain alignment in processes.
• Identify and implement projects to gain process consistency and improvements.
• Align and ensure accurate productivity reporting monthly with finance, operations, and sourcing.
• Must be able to effectively collaborate across the organization and positively influence business outcomes.
• Must effectively communicate with business leaders across all functional areas.
• Participate in cross functional and process improvement projects. Review and provide recommendations on financial impacts of plant projects.
• Lead and focus on finance process improvement projects using lean processes and digital tools.
• Provide backup responsibilities for other team members.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree with finance or accounting major.
• 2 to 5 years of work experience in finance or accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, presentation skills, financial analysis, and ability to explain and communicate financial results in an understandable and actionable format for decision-making purposes.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, HFM or related reporting systems).
• Strong interpersonal skills: work well as part of a cross-functional team and able to interact at all levels.
• A good understanding of financial statements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required.
• Travel requirement: 5%

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Salary Range: 90,700 - 110,700. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
