Senior Financial Analyst, Cloud Sales Finance, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA degree
• 5 years of experience in Costs, Profit and Loss, and Investments
• Experience working with large datasets with analytical and modeling skills
• Experience with Headcount management for a large Software Go-To-Market team and knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry.
• Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to communicate, influence and form strong working relationships at executive level

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and own the North America Cost side of Profit and Loss (Investments, Sales Costs inclusive of Head Count). Work with Central Finance and the Sales Leadership on establishing the right controls, provide the filed Point of View ( POV), and manage and forecast on Profit and Loss
• Own and dictate the end to end Investment for North America and work with Finance, Sales, and other key stakeholders to drive continuous process improvements (i.e. provide a field POV). Focus on Governance and return on investments
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance
• Work cross-functionally to develop effective investment strategies and risk management, finding solutions to challenges in a rapidly evolving environment and influencing the outcomes through data-driven analysis
• Optimize and automate financial processes, collaborating with the Finance team and promoting systems innovations with new tools
