Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team in the FP&A organization as Databricks experiences growth at scale. You will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A. The FP&A team helps promote deeper insights into our business and supports the leadership team by providing visibility and predictability to help us invest for long-term growth. You will design and implement models to forecast, plan, and budget for multiple segments of the company. You will help build relevant insights of financial data for the CFO organization.

The impact you will have:

• Forecast Remaining Performance Obligation. You will need to partner with our Sales Finance team and CS Finance team to gather inputs into this model and build assumptions on complex accounting rules that go into this disclosure.
• Free Cash Flow Forecasting. Incorporating the topline forecast into cash collections and building assumptions into the expense forecast to build a cash outflows forecast.
• Develop financial health dashboards and identify areas of potential risk and opportunity
• Support the analysis on variances to budgets and forecasts for quarterly reporting
• Improve forecast accuracy and develop recommendations based on an understanding of Databricks' business model

What we look for:

• Experience with topline forecasting and working with sales teams to build pipeline inputs into model
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or comparable quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience with financial modeling
• Financial modeling skills and quantitative analysis experience
• Expert in Excel and Google Sheets; can maintain complex spreadsheets, comfortable with different modeling techniques and shortcuts
• Experience with GAAP. Understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics
• Experience with Anaplan, Netsuite, Salesforce.com, Coupa, and Workday
