Senior Financial Analyst (Cost Accounting)- Fort Worth, TX

We are looking for an outstanding and highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our team in Fort Worth.The role is part of AWM Operations finance team. The role will focus on supporting Columbia and Fort Worth factories financial reporting and provide support to the US Operations Finance Business Partners and the wider AWM US Operations function. The ideal candidate would be somebody with previous experience working in a manufacturing company.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of group and management critical metrics and improve existing process and procedures
• Review and analyse financial results to understand discrepancies and trends
• Accountable for the preparation of monthly actual reporting, quarterly forecast and annual budget submissions
• Maintain and develop manufacturing cost model
• Cost center reviews with budget holders
• Standard cost calculations
• Asset management including capital equipment request submissions, reporting, and auditing
• Become proficient in local ERP systems including integrations, transaction-level accounting entries, rolling and loading standard costs, updating material pricing
• Implement and maintain MAPS and SOX within operations
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements
• Support the business with productivity reviews - verifying/driving potential savings
• Project support
• Ad hoc business requests

What will you need to be successful?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Financial qualification such as CPA or equivalent, preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing company, preferred
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work across a matrix environment, within a globally distributed team.
• Ability to travel as required up to 15%.
