Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

We are seeking a driven individual to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team within the Corporate Strategy group to provide financial support and analysis to aid departments in decision making.Â
 What you’d be doing:Â
 As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will enable SageSure’s continued growth by strengthening financial budgeting and forecasting across the company. This includes executing on a range of initiatives aimed at improving our financial performance and capabilities. To do this effectively, you will be comfortable working cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a desire to learn in a hands-on environment. Core responsibilities of this role include:Â
 Budgeting and Forecasting:Â
- Assist in the preparation and development of department budgets, forecasts, and other related reporting activities throughout the yearÂ
- Input and maintain budget and forecast data in appropriate systems as well as any associated supporting schedulesÂ
- Document and maintain budget and reforecast process workflowsÂ
- Take ownership of data accuracy and integrity across necessary systemsÂ
- Provide variance analysis of actual results versus budget and/or forecast Â
- Proactively produce and analyze reports to develop insights about drivers of performance Â
- Identify, develop and maintain listing of expense drivers necessary to inform forecastÂ
- Develop and maintain detailed financial exhibits as necessaryÂ
 Financial Analysis and Support:Â
- Develop a strong understanding of the corporate general ledger system and reporting toolsÂ
- Perform variable and fixed cost analyses to identify potential improvement opportunitiesÂ
- Analyze and report on financial information and records as requested by managementÂ
- Develop and maintain budget reporting metrics Â
 Operational Improvements:Â
- Enhance existing process documentation and create new process guides where needed  Â
- Develop library of reference information that will help strengthen FP&A operations Â
- Support the development of an operational scorecard and regularly monitor our performance; use results to drive process improvementsÂ
 We’re looking for someone who has:Â
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance or Accounting preferredÂ
- 3-5Â years of professional experience FP&A or AccountingÂ
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; ability to create compelling data exhibits and presentations for an executive audience Â
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsÂ
- Desire to learn in a hands-on and dynamic environment Â
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail; maintain a high standard of documentation Â
- The ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences Â
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply skills learned in a rapid and effective manner Â
Highly preferred candidates also have:Â
- Experience with NetSuite and NetSuite Planning and Budgeting Â
- Professional experience within the insurance industry Â
- Advanced MS Excel abilityÂ
- Familiarity with PowerBI or similar data visualization softwareÂ
