Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Financial department of the Ignitis Renewables Latvia team. In this role, you will assist in the development and improvement of the Company’s financial control function. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Developing and improving existing controls, reports and KPI system
• Providing support on the existing short-term / long-term forecasts, month-end, and variance analysis reporting
• Monitoring renewables companies cashflows
• Managing ad hoc financial analyses and make presentations
• Participating in Group projects related to accounting, reporting and overall Finance functions
• Supporting key stakeholders (both business and finance)
• Communicating with outsourced accounting team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or similar field
• 2+ years of overall combined audit / finance control / data analysis experience
• Excellent English and Latvian languages skills (both verbal & written)
• Proficiency in MS Office programs (advanced MS Excel user)
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen, including the ability to identify and understand key business drivers
• Result-oriented, responsible, proactive and willing to improve.

Would be an advantage:

• Knowledge of IFRS, ACCA/CFA qualification.
