The Senior Financial Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the Microbiology Operating Company's R&D and Marketing Finance functions.

This position is part of the Finance Department located in Sacramento, California and will be hybrid or fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Microbiology Finance Team and report to the Senior Finance Manager responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis. If you thrive in a multifunctional, collaborative, and self-starter type role and want to work to build a world-class Finance organization-read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop annual budgets and monthly expense forecasts in collaboration with functional leaders and program managers.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports and analyze financial performance vs. expectations for departmental expenses and development projects.
• Forecast, measure and analyze the commercial performance (ROI) of new products against expectations.
• Conduct ad-hoc planning and analysis to support the business and senior management.
• Prepare and maintain standard financial reporting packages.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required with 5+ years' experience OR Master Degree with 3+ years' experience OR Doctoral Degree with 0-2 years' experience.
• Experience in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to present and explain financial reports and analysis to both finance and non-finance audiences
• Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel 5-10%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Microsoft Power BI, SQL
• Oracle ERP / Oracle Business Intelligence
• MBA and / or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
