Senior Financial Analyst - Global
Job Description
We seek a results-focused, innovative, customer-centric well-qualified individual to join our talented team as the Senior Financial Analyst Global. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will drive sound business decisions toward strategic, long-term objectives by preparing and developing financial analyses, models, and strategic reports that provide a framework for sustainable growth. Also, by executing best practices in budgeting and forecasting and effectively communicating business performance metrics to principal stakeholders.
In addition, you will:
- Drive business growth by designing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting models and tools for effective analysis and decision-making. Also, by leveraging continuous improvement practices across planning and reporting processes through refinement, streamlining, and optimization
- Optimize financial budgeting and forecasting processes by engaging collaboratively with regional finance teams, and brand and functional leadership to determine and share drivers for financial results
- Provide companywide insight into financial results by establishing design and functionality into financial templates that clearly communicate results, forecasted performance, and variance to plan. Also, by developing and updating meaningful metrics and reporting tools that facilitate analysis of key monthly business metrics
- Provide effective analysis of actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior year by leveraging business knowledge to identify financial issues and opportunities to optimize results and drive/influence management decisions
- Increase efficiency and reduce risk by utilizing forecasting techniques and software solutions to provide flexible reporting and processes for efficiency and consistency across the organization
- Lead strategic business initiatives by preparing and delivering ROI, ad hoc, and cost-benefit analyses as project priorities and investment opportunities emerge. Also, by monitoring business brand financial performance and developing plans that close gaps in budgets and forecasts
- Maintain subject matter expertise in the areas of forecasting and budgeting by seeking out external training, seminars, and trade organization memberships, and consulting with outside experts for continuous learning
Requirements
You should have:
- MBA preferred, BS/BA Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalency a minimum
- Strong Microsoft skills required. Proficient in JDE E-1 or other ERP platforms.
- Experience with Financial Planning and Reporting tools, such as Microsoft Power BI
- Up to 10%, including international travel
- 5+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis, and Budgeting and Forecasting within a global environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to work across all company levels.
- Demonstrated excellence in project management and implementation

Salary Range: $103,000-$135,000
Dymax takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Dymax salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of Dymax's total compensation packages for employees
