Senior Financial Analyst, GTM
Job Description
The Go To Market Senior Financial Analyst (GTM SFA) is a highly visible role driving unit economics, Sales & Marketing functional view reporting, and capital allocation across the Sales & Marketing budget.
The FP&A team works closely with the CFO and senior executives to plan the business and allocate budget and resources to the company's strategic initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to join a dynamic, high-growth environment and accelerate their development.
This role is Hybrid, in office 30 business days per quarter, at any of our offices:
- Belmont, CA headquarters
- Denver, CO
- Dallas, TX
- Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Marketing Unit Economics
- Use key SaaS metrics - ARPU, Churn, MRR, cost to book to build 5-year unit economics model
- Shape the go-to-market strategy, set bookings target based on analysis driven from unit economics
- Sales and Marketing Efficiency :
- Prepare dynamic excel templates to measure & report GTM productivity and efficiency metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Help business leaders and their team conceive and plan for a more effective scalable and sustainable approach to GTM strategy development, planning, operations and execution through best-in-class business intelligence, modelling, and reporting
- Sales and Marketing capital allocation :
- Measure S&M efficiency to drive optimal capital allocation during Annual Planning
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales FP&A, equity research, investment banking or related fields
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Experience supporting major functional areas within an organization, with experience in financial analysis, and business metric reporting
- Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion, Cognos, Business Objects, SAP, Anaplan, Adaptive, Tableau or Netsuite
- High proficiency in Excel - building financial and decision support models
- Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great attitude, willingness to perform and get things done.
This role is Hybrid, in office 30 business days per quarter, at our Belmont, CA headquarters.
The compensation range for full-time employees for this position is:
- for California, between $84,000 and $120,000 base salary
- for Denver, Colorado, between $72,000 and $88,000 base salary
...in addition to eligibility for variable pay and benefits. The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
