As Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing R&D financial analysis which includes tracking development fees, assisting with financial analysis for business development activities for WW Pharmaceutical Systems and other adhoc business partnership activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the PS business unit to prepare Monthly Closing activities related to R&D
  • Responsible for billing, tracking and recognizing revenue timely for development fees
  • Responsible for monthly analysis, working closely with the PMO R&D teams to understand the timing of development fees recognition
  • Work closely with R&D leads to understand project expenses and total spend for the month vs. budget, projection and prior year
  • Review all department expense activity for significant variances to plans
  • Facilitate and be responsible for the submission of budget, forecasts and ASR into HFM for all R&D cost centers and activities
  • Provide financial support for all CapEx activity for North America
  • Analyze Capital Expenditure requests for US Pharmaceutical Systems on a timely basis, and provide financial performance analysis
  • Prepare and complete the R&D tax package (annual)
  • Participate in Quarterly Rolling Projection, Preliminary Budget, and ASR data submissions

About you: To be successful in this role, you require:

  • Minimum B.S. degree in Accounting / Finance is required
  • MInimum 4 years' experience in a finance environment; exposure to manufacturing operations, cost accounting is preferred
  • Extensive experience and expertise with various computer software programs; Excel and SAP
  • Good understanding of financial evaluation techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management including locations outside the U.S.
