This role will be responsible for supporting the Business VP responsible for the Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) business and the Endourology business. This role gets involved with the day-to-day activities of supporting two of BDI's growing business units.

The finance team supports strategic business objectives by providing financial analysis, insights, and accounting support as well as performing month-end closing and budget/forecast preparation. The dynamic needs of the business will change, and the ideal candidate would be looking to increase their responsibilities and develop their skills to keep pace with supporting the evolving environment.

This Hybrid role is based out of the Louisville, Colorado or Covington, Georgia locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include some or all the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Completing financial responsibilities necessary for closing the books each period.
• Developing and recording necessary accounting journal entries to ensure accurate financials.
• Assisting with the sales close process.
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts accurately and timely.
• Organizing and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Assisting in coordination of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
• Working with business partners to understand expenses/accruals and investigating unusual transactions.
• Providing thoughtful and insightful analysis of financial variances.
• Prepare financial models (i.e. new product development, business case/justification etc.)
• Maintaining and updating financial spreadsheets, reports, schedules, and calculations.
• Leading monthly budget/spending reviews with departmental managers and forecasting future spending/revenue.
• Coordinating and participating in the annual budget process.
• Validating the completeness and accuracy of the P&L.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
• Performing ad-hoc research/analysis/projects in order to support decision making.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• B.S. degree or higher in Accounting / Finance is required.
• A minimum of 2 years experience of progressive accounting experience, with some exposure to manufacturing operations, financial analysis desirable.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• CPA / CMA / MBA or equivalent or working toward qualification is desirable
• Hard-working, proactive and seeks continuous improvement.
• Highly proficient working with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and reasonably proficient with other common applications such as MS Word/PowerPoint; solid understanding of JD Edwards or other accounting/reporting systems,
• Candidate should be well organized and possess good analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience working in a highly visible role that will interact with individuals at all organizational levels, internal and external, and at remote locations.
• Ability to travel to Colorado and/or Georgia locations, a minimum of 6 times a year for training and/or face to face meetings is required.

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $75,000.00 - $134,100.00 USD Annual and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications.
