Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst I, Global Revenue Management role is an integral position within the Global Analytics & Insights Finance organization. The Senior Financial Analyst I is responsible for a supporting various planning, forecasting, causaling and reporting processes and analyses in support Rockwell's businesses and regions. The role reports to the Global Analytics & Insights organization and engages with other FP&A teams within the organization to develop financial plans, forecasts and analyze actual performance against those goals.
The mission of the Global Analytics & Insights organization is to provide business and functional partners with information to manage performance and support decision making, while driving operational excellence in the process. The Senior Financial Analyst will own the reporting and analytics for Global Revenue Management. The main activity of this role is to provide performance reporting and insight on a variety of key financial metrics related Pricing Analysis. The Senior Analyst also works to automate processes and support simplification and standardization efforts.
Scope of duties may include:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting of Average Selling Price, Price Variance and Customer Mix for global businesses
- Present and explain Pricing performance and key variances and changes vs. target - Be able to explain the "why" behind the "what"
- Leverage information from multiple systems as SAP, DGS, Oracle EPM and Power BI to perform financial analytics
- Business Partnering with Global Revenue Management team
- Ensure the predictability of results by driving standard and effective quarterly forecasts for supported areas as well as future outlooks as required by Corporate Finance
- Create ad hoc analyses and respond to business inquiries to understand material drivers of financial performance
- Collaborate with other FP&A teams to ensure business forecast reflects proper Price data in Sales and Margins targets
- Assist in margin analysis to understand financial performance variances against forecast as result of price performance
- Closely align with the other teams in the Global Analytics & Insights organization to drive improved and standardized global processes
- Developing and advocating for automation, simplification, and standardization in reporting

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally within financial planning and analysis
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and communicate effectively to clearly present financial concepts to key stakeholders
- Superior analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills
- Process improvement focus and proactive mindset with an eagerness to learn the business
- Customer-focused, with a strong interest in understanding the strategy and priorities of the business functions that they support
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
