Senior Financial Analyst (multiple positions)

Job Duties:
CMBS New Deal Senior Analyst is a hybrid role where the analyst performs a mix of lead analyst and support analyst duties. Lead the process of rating US CMBS transactions while maintaining compliance with DBRS Morningstar Policies and Procedures (15%). Determine DBRS Morningstar stabilized net cash flows for all property types, a variety of loan sizes ($2 million to >$1 billion) and unique loan structures including holdbacks and future funding components based on property performance and market dynamics (20%). Conduct market research and financial analysis for rating committees, investor meetings and conferences (2%). Conduct site inspections of all major property types on a nationwide basis (10%). Compose detailed Presale reports distributed to investors containing the culmination of research and analysis (15%). Provide credit analysis and use quantitative models to assess credit worthiness for multiloan pooled transactions as well as single-borrower transactions (15%). Present loan level analysis, quantitative results and provide recommendations to the credit committee (5%). Assist senior members of the team to develop reports for investors and for presentations to be delivered at conferences (3%). Serve as a mentor for junior members of the team (10%). Respond to client and colleague inquiries regarding methodologies, analysis and research (5%). *** Domestic travel required up to 20% of the time.
Job Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.• 2 years of relevant financial experience.• 2 years of experience in a commercial real estate finance.• Proficiency in Excel to develop new applications and to perform complex analyses.• Experience with writing presale reports for engaged transactions and for publishing topical research papers.• Experience with various regression analyses.• Experience with the financial statement analysis, including analysis of various third-party and loan documents such as appraisals, engineering, and environmental reports.• Experience with CMBS legal documentations.
