Senior Financial Analyst, Publication

*This position is on our hybrid schedule at our New Rochelle office.

Position Description: Senior Financial Analyst will focus on supporting the publication team, setting up, populating, and analyzing product budgets, forecasts and estimates. Through partnership with a number of teams across the company, the analyst will help develop short and long term forecasts, build and monitor KPIs and prepare deal and investment analyses and product projections. We are looking for a highly analytical person to derive key insights that directly impact the business. This candidate should find excitement in developing, supporting, and seeing through completion of key strategic initiatives. As a key member of the finance team, this candidate will partner with senior level stakeholders to meet operational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage product operating model (budgets, forecasts and estimates)
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) across all lines of business
• Present financial summaries, trends, and business insights to senior management
• Analyze key investments and new business initiatives
• Create actionable insights
• Lead ad hoc initiatives across various departments

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

• Minimum 3-5 years of finance experience from investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance
• Demonstrated ability to build financial models for forecasting and ad hoc models to distill complex ideas into digestible insights Great communication skills
• Budgeting and project management experience
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
• Ability to multi-task & prioritize
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior management in a clear, concise manner
• Exceptional analytical acumen & attention to detail with a mastery of Microsoft Excel
• Team player

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000

*The base salary range represents the low and high end of the expected salary range for the position. The base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
