Senior Financial Analyst - Remote
Job Description
Position Summary:
Iron Mountain's Enterprise Finance Team is responsible for consolidation and coordination of Financial activities and measures across Iron Mountain's global businesses. This role supports the Directors of Financial Planning and Analysis who are responsible for internal and external reporting of enterprise and business level results. Coordination of quarterly forecasts and the annual budget are also in the scope of activities performed by the team. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for reporting, long range financial modeling and business analysis in this context. The rapid growth of Iron Mountain has also created a need for standardization and simplification of processes and IT systems. This role will support the Directors on these initiatives. The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key contributor to the FP&A Team and will be responsible for understanding and coordinating the monthly financial activities globally.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Monthly Enterprise Financial Reporting, including engaging with global business units to drive clear understanding of results
- Coordination of cadence of activities associated with forecasting and annual budget
- Assist directors in process simplification and standardization activities
- Engage with business finance as part of the annual Multi Year Plan process to drive visibility to long term strategy
- Monthly reporting and variance analysis of corporate costs
- Focal point for development of enterprise reporting tools
- Communication of enterprise finance processes and initiatives
Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA a plus
- 3-5 years of financial experience focused on providing planning and business analysis support within a large sophisticated corporation
- Strong analytical skills needed to synthesize large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers, and distill them into insightful analysis for senior management
- Advanced modeling skills and strong organizational and financial skills to analyze quickly and accurately, on a timely basis, and with credibility
- Strict attention to detail and intensity around consistently delivering high quality outputs in a multi-tasking environment, comfortable working with ambiguity
- Flexible, especially the ability to change work focus to meet company goals
- Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into understandable messages suitable for a global virtual audience
- Basic project management skills with the ability to break complex tasks into defined steps and deliverables that enable achievement of the task on a defined timeline
