What You Will Do

As the Sr Finance Analyst supporting Stryker’s Foot and Ankle division, you will help consolidate and report the financial planning, monthly financial results, and budget process for the business unit. You will work closely with department heads to ensure that budgets are accurately prepared and that expenses are effectively managed throughout the year. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the variance analysis of operating expenses and articulating results to functional leads. You will gain cross-functional experience by working directly with business unit and divisional finance teams within Trauma & Extremities.

  • Prepare month-end close process, post journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, trends, and variances to actual and to the forecast.
  • Participate in first level discussions and assists in analyzing and summarizing results at the business unit level for leadership.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to support Business Partner needs.
  • Work closely with Divisional FP&A on any requests to ensure alignment and understanding of requests.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance and/ or accounting required. CPA preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional experience supporting finance or accounting functions required. Knowledge of US GAAP preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to be a strong business-partner, working with all levels of management in a matrixed environment.
  • Organized, able to manage multiple requirements simultaneously and meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy


$67,400 - $136,200 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. 

Travel Percentage: 10%
