Senior Financial Analyst (remote position)

Steward Health Care System is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Reimbursement to serve as a business partner to senior leadership, to drive an effective month end close and planning process and to support high-level analysis in the reimbursement department.

This is a remote work position.

This position is responsible for preparing financial analyses for various matters involving, third party liabilities, compliance issues, Medicare DSH, Medicare IME & GME, State Supplemental payment analysis and other relevant topics. The position will prepare Medicare and State Medicaid cost reports and is responsible for the regulatory report submissions to both state and federal agencies, such as Uniform Medicaid and Uninsured Uncompensated Care Cost and Charge Report (UCCR) Medicare IRIS submissions, Medicare Bad debts listings, health safety net pool, CHIA quarterly reporting, wage index, Occ Mix, S-10 Filing, and other relevant filings. Also, responsible for gathering reimbursement rates and factors for Medicare and Medicaid payers and update the rate schedules. Responsible to perform all the necessary tasks and responsibilities related reimbursement matters in the department.
