Summary:

The Senior. Financial Analyst - Reporting provides the organization with the business intelligence necessary to operate the business and understand financial results. The Sr. Financial Analyst - Reporting is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise data reporting capabilities through InsightSofware Wands and other systems. In this context, the scope of the role includes reports, dashboards, scorecards, data analysis, and visual insights. This role works closely with Business Stakeholders, Subject-matter-experts (SMEs), and data analysts to ensure that reporting is aligned with their requirements and needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify reporting needs of the organization and maintain the backlog of associated work
• Design and create reports for the organization
• Assess reporting needs of the organization and determine where capabilities must be built out
• Collaborate with IT to identify the best tools for various reporting needs
• Understand the available data sources and how best to generate the information necessary to manage the business
• Define the datasets available with the InsightSoftware Wands tool that will be available for report development
• Serve as first-level support for colleagues who utilize InsightSofware Wands
• Provide training on the use of financial reporting resources
• Assist the organization in performing data analysis for various projects

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years as a financial analyst
• Experience with reporting systems
• 3+ years of defining reporting needs
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel
• Technical aptitude to understand data structures/database design

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in data warehouse-oriented Data Architecture and Modelling
• Working knowledge of data warehouse-oriented Database/Data Management platforms
• Experience with InsightSoftware Wands
• Experience with the SAP FICO module would be a plus

CJ Logistics loves collaboration and a team environment. Therefore, this role is located at our Corporate Office in Des Plaines, IL, and has a hybrid work arrangement (3 days on-site and 2 days remote). Candidates must live within a commutable distance of the corporate office.
