Job Summary:Â
We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to be local to our Boston headquarters. This role will support key financial deliverables as the monthly close and reporting, reforecast, budgeting, and long-range planning. The Senior Financial Analyst will deliver headcount planning and ad hoc financial analyses to assist in evaluation of strategic options, investment opportunities, pricing methodologies, proposed changes to operations, financial impact of company’s solutions, and other key initiatives. The position provides an opportunity to work cross-functionally with business leaders and the accounting team to deliver high quality financial analyses. Reports to: Director of Financial Planning & AnalysisÂ
Location: 100% Remote East Coast BasedÂ
Travel: 10% to Boston HQÂ
Responsibilities:Â

Budgeting and variance reporting. Deliver the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modeling toolsÂ

Monitor and analyze current and past trends in key performance indicatorsÂ

Monthly reporting of results with actionable recommendationsÂ

Make recommendations regarding efficiency, cost savings, and productivity through working knowledge of operations across all departmentsÂ
-
Assist with review and analysis of the monthly closeÂ
-
Forecasting financial resultsÂ
-
Ad hoc analysis to support a wide range of strategic projects
-
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and new business opportunities.Â

Prepare presentations for the senior leadership teamÂ
Experience and Qualifications:Â
The ideal candidate for this role will have FP&A experience within a fast paced, rapidly growing company with a successful record of supporting enterprise-wide planning and forecasting. The candidate should have very strong Excel modeling and financial systems skills and top notch interpersonal and communication skills.Â

3-5 years working experience in FP&A at a high growth companyÂ
-
Experience in technology or healthcare is a strong plusÂ
-
Startup experience preferred but not requiredÂ

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with solid understanding of GAAPÂ

Strong experience building financial models from scratch in ExcelÂ
-
Experience with a cloud ERP system, NetSuite preferredÂ
-
Experience driving business and systems process improvementsÂ
