Senior Financial Analyst - Sales

Tempus is looking for a Financial Analyst to support growing operations in Chicago. This position will play a key role in the day-to-day financial reporting, analysis and decision-making process. 

Responsibilities

• Financial Business partner to the Sales and Sales Operations teams
• Analyze and report on revenue results and key underlying metrics - understanding trends and the impact to forecast
• Assist in forecast data consolidation and report preparation
• Implement, coordinate, and ensure accurate reporting of commissions processes across the various business units
• Provide ad hoc analytical support to influence decision making with financial perspective

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and 2+ years of Finance/Accounting and/or relevant industry experience 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with superb attention to detail
• Collaborative, self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, unstructured workplace 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong ownership mentality; maintains focus on driving projects to completion and delivering output/results
• Working knowledge of company financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement) and relevant financial analysis metrics
