Department Overview
This is a high visibility opportunity on the Command Center software finance team. Our team strives to deliver value to Software Deployment by providing financial support through data-driven analysis, effective resource planning, and tracking key performance indicators.We help our business partners execute on their strategic and operational imperatives which contributes to strong financial performance. As Motorola Solutions accelerates innovation through software, the finance organization has a unique opportunity supporting Software Deployment.
Job Description
Primary deployment finance contact for CAD & Records and ECH projects providing financial support to a Regional Services Manager and Project Managers
Forecast deployment backlog revenue and margin while identifying risks and opportunities
Drive regional forecast calls and provide required analysis to support revenue accelerationÂ
Consult with operating partners to understand the financial impact of contemplated business decisions
Understand and explain changes in project forecast to complete estimates, project risk projections, and deferred cost balances
Complete monthly revenue packages and maintain accurate financial profile of each project
Preferred Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to collaborate with business partners
Comfortable working at a detailed level under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents
Ability to transform large data sets into summaries to drive decision making
Strong system skills including Excel, Google Sheets, and Oracle
Knowledge of Oracle Project Accounting, Planview, SmartView, Tableau
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics
2+ years of Finance or Accounting experience
Basic Requirements
