Senior Financial Analyst- Strategic Finance

Job Summary:

The Sr. Financial Analyst will assist the Strategic Finance team in developing the strategic planning process of the organization.   This role will collaborate with senior executives and business partners to develop long-range strategic goals and the tools necessary to achieve those goals, including action plans, milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, SWOT analysis and remediation plans when necessary.  This position will also evaluate new business opportunities and act as a strategic partner to assess and support key operational projects.  This role reports to the Director of Strategic Finance.

Job Expectations:

• Support the 5-year long range planning process in partnership with the FP&A and PMO teams, working cross-functionally to identify, scope and monitor innovative growth opportunities and initiatives.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs that tie to the financial budget and goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain information for reporting and analysis needs.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis that provides meaningful insights and synthesized recommendations to support informed decision-making.
• Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve financial performance.
• Strong partnership with the FP&A, BI and Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop dashboards that provide a clear view of the business by visually translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Work cross-functionally to implement process improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Equipment Knowledge:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
• Experience with SAP, and Tableau preferred

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of three (3) plus years of progressive experience in a Corporate FP&A function, Strategic / Financial advisory services, or Big Four public accounting experience. Public company and Consumer Goods/E-commerce industry preferred.

Education Requirements:

BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA and/or MBA preferred
