What You'll Do:
Traeger is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain Finance position to join our FP&A team. In this role you will partner with Logistics & Pellet Mill Operations teams to drive efficiency and profitability. You will support cross-functional partners with financial analysis and modeling to ensure accurate decision making. Strategic work is also a critical component of this role, as you will help drive cost optimization of inbound & outbound freight, warehousing, and pellet mill operations. This role requires you to be an initiative-taking individual to deliver timely results with a high level of expectations.
How You'll Help Us Win:
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial plans, quarterly forecasts, month-end reporting and analysis of budget-to-actual results
- Prepare trend and ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making; build detailed financial models for scenario planning
- Responsible for development, reporting and analysis related to the internal quarterly business review with Operations
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as Logistics and Pellet Mill Operations to model and track cost optimization
- Maintain Pellet product profitability model and ensure portfolio margins are within targets
- Help to drive efficiency through tools and process improvement
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and strategic planning; ideally, experience supporting supply chain finance
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficiency with tools such as Adaptive Planning and Redshift/SQL is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with and influence all levels of management
- Ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail in the development of management quality reporting and analytics for Senior Leadership
- Results-oriented, high-energy self-starter with ability to manage through ambiguity in a dynamic environment
- Strong ability to balance multiple, competing priorities and maintain strong organizational skills
