Senior Financial Analyst, Technical Accounting (hybrid)

Stryker is implementing a transformative program focused on optimizing the Finance function to support business growth and functional scalability. The Technical Accounting team within the Flower Mound Finance Center will focus on supporting product divisions in accounting and reporting for leases, revenue recognition and reserves, acquisitions, and other complex accounting areas.

The candidate will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance to our Flower Mound, TX location. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) and will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.

What you will do

• Partner with divisions to migrate accounting processes, reconciliations, internal controls, and other reporting to the Finance Center.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to ensure integrity and efficiency while driving consistency between product divisions.
• Perform month-end close functions, ensuring journal entries and reconciliations are completed timely and accurately in accordance with Corporate policy.
• Function as an extension of the divisional team, proactively communicating and leading meetings to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Assist with GAAP research and preparation of accounting position memos.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years experience required in Audit, Accounting, or Finance
• CPA preferred
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Experience researching and applying GAAP preferred

Travel Percentage: 10%
